Well, I'm now in a surreal situation as life tends to swig at me those refreshing bursts of reality.
On June 24th I'll be on a panel of other Wilkes Universtiy published writers to read our works to current graduate students in the Creative Writing program.
It's a fun realization to have admired the authors, poets, and screenwriters who were on those panels when I was in the program and now am part of a different panel in a similar situation as they had been.
These are those glimpses in life that make me feel very fortunate and appreciate writing and my life.
Writing is life.
What fun shall I create tonight?

I went to Atlantic City this weekend. I gambled for about 30 minutes and won $34--then the fun began.
I went with a menagerie of hottie Filipino guys who spoke nothing but Tagalog. OO. It was amazing. Dancing in straight clubs has a different vibe--still fun, but if your with the right group of people it's always an fantastic night out. I laughed so much with Russel and gathered so many new ideas for characters while wandering around the icy inside of Taj Mahal. My two friends dressed up as woman--strikingly tall Nicky wore the tiniest mini while Oliver was petite and had her mind set on finding some guys.
Each night they found some guys who loved guys dressed as women--perhaps some didn't realize they were men? Either way they didn't seem to mind.
Lots of Vodkas led to a snuggly bus ride back to my apartment in New York City.
Green house is an eccentric night club on Verick and Vandam that has all varieties of hotties and strangeness. Giant white wigs. Plastic shirts. sleeveless tuxedo jackets. Mirrored makeup. And lots of hot hot men. Warm Manhattan nights brings everyone out and after walking past the line and going directly inside my good friend DAnny's antics began. Then morning arrived.

It's been over three months now since I became a single man and life has taken me to many Times Square Kisses. Just when you think you've found that gorgeous, amazing, guy who smells like strong hugs and kisses like adonis--the realization hits, something annoys you about him or he makes a an off color comment--he has a strange relationship with his brother or he likes to do strange things in bed., Not that I don't like that, but some things just hurt.
